I quit my first job today! I was a dishwasher/ bus-boy/garbage-boy/bathroom cleaner at a national restaurant chain. I gave them my resignation since I'll be getting a new job tomorrow at a grocery store chain here in the northeast! I'll be stocking items in the produce department there. I think I'm gonna love it since its easier to drive to, there's an autozone in the same parking lot, AND I won't be washing dishes. Have a picture of my Sable for reading this:
TL;DR: I quit one job for a better one I start tomorrow!

Hopefully your new job isn't at Market Basket!

Nope! S&S!

They are good! But if Market Basket recovers, watch out for pending S&S layoffs. I feel like they've been hiring extra just to cover the MB customer boost. Good luck though!

The store that hired me needed another guy in the produce department, and thanks!

I work for them currently. It's not a bad job, and the union benefits are great. Complete control over my work schedule? Check. Loads of vacation time? Check. Guaranteed time off as long as you ask two weeks in advance? Check. It's also, like, impossible to get fired.

What do you do there?

I started as a cashier 4 years ago, then moved up to service desk, then CSDH, and now I'm in training for Cash Office which means (joy of joys!) being at the store for 6am.
